Introduction
Our medical system has always been a for-profit business and never for healing. Of course, there are many doctors and nurses who enter the field because they want to heal, but how they heal is dictated by how they are taught and by the American Medical Association. I explain on the homeopathy page of this site, how homeopathy was the predominant healing modality before David Rockerfeller, with vested interest in drug companies (and eugenics), funded colleges and even the American Medical Association to focus on only allopathy and to minimize natural cures.
Even trusted associations, such as the American Cancer Socieity and the Center for Disease Control (see vaccines page of this site), are affiliated with pharmaceutical companies and often block knowledge of any cure that would impede on their profits. Here is a long list on Find.com that came up when I typed in: "American Cancer Society in cahoots with the FDA and pharmaceutical companies". One thing the American Cancer Society and the medical industry have in common is the push for mammographs which pays well and also penetrates the breasts with Cancer-causing radiation (which later, brings in even more money). Then if something is found, toxic chemicals known as chemotherapy and more radiation follows bringing in even more money and still Cancer. Chemotherapy shrinks Cancer cells only temporarily, as it does other cells in the body, but the long-term result is still Cancer and other sickness, as well as more costly visits to the doctor.
Before going on to the treatments and methods of Cancer prevention; it is important to remember that not everyone's body reacts the same to each thing. Trying more than one of the natural homeopathic treatments listed would be a common-sensical approach.
What is Cancer and it's Causes?
Cancer is a result to mutations to the DNA within cells and is caused by radiation, carcinogens and even a lack of oxygen in the cells which can occur when your body is too acidic. The DNA is like an instruction manual to every other cell of the body on how to divide, grow, it's functions, etc.
Radiation is emitted during yearly mammograms, from cell phones, smart meters, cell towers, RFID chips and of course, Fukushima. Cancer rates were higher in pets that had an rfid chip due to its electromagnetic frequency. There are 3 types of radiation: electro-magnetic (emf) such as radio waves, visible light, x-rays, and γ; particle radiation such as neutron radiation and acoustic radiation which includes ultrasound, sound, and seismic waves.
Carcinogens come in the form of chemicals, bacteria, and infections that create a chemical reaction with our cells and changes our DNA. Sometimes the chemical reaction can fool other cells into over splitting thus creating a tumor. Aside from what we breathe or digest, another chemistry reaction is caused by free radicals. Free radicals are highly reactive chemicals that form in the body when an atom or a molecule either gains or loses an electron".
Free radicals form in our body as a result of oxidation of cells. Oxidation is the loss of at least one electron when two or more substances interact. Oxidation produces oxygen free radicals, natural chemicals that may suppress immune function. The way this works is our cells remove electrons from sugars, fatty acids and amino acids to generate energy and then add them to other molecules, especially oxygen. Our cells oxidize normally, but stress and environmental factors could cause our cells to oxidize in excess to where there are too many free radicals in the body. This causes damage to cells which make them vulnerable to Cancers and infections. This is why eating foods high in antioxidants is one way of helping to prevent Cancer. Other forms of prevention are, of course, avoiding carcinogens and radiation, and keeping your cells free from electron-stealing (and adding) viral and bacterial infections (which is where immune boosting foods come in).
Acidic versus Alkaline: Many doctors have concluded that Cancer thrives in an acidic environment due to the body becoming more acidic when Cancer exists in it. Acidity causes blood and cells to lack oxygenation and lack of oxygenation helps tumors grow (Low oxygen levels could drive cancer growth, research suggests). Proponents claim that a healthy body maintains a healthy ph balance and that Cancer is the cause of acidity. Well, to have a healthy body, you need to eat a healthy balanced diet, which means alkaline and acidic foods. Most of us overload on acidic foods such as sugars, coffee, dairy products and meats, while consuming very little alkaline foods such as fresh vegetables. Here is an alkaline/acidity food chart. Dr. Coldwell, in video in the Preventions and Cures section of this page, cites success in killing cancer cells by way of oxygenating the cells that have Cancer.
Prevention and Treatments
Antioxidants/Immune Boosters
Foods that are high in antioxidants are also high in vitamins A, C and E, selenium, and plant-derived polyphenols (flavonoids). According to a study by Pubmed (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18186104 ), Flavonoids were "able to down-regulate LPS-induced tumor necrosis factor production". To keep cells healthy and less immune to attack by free radicals and other carcinogens in the body; immune boosting is important. Nature has provided many plants that boosts our immune system.
